All of our coops are built with chickens and their owners in mind, which is why our coops and runs have a standard height door and are of the interior height that allows for a comfortable standing room. Our sidewalls have a minimum height of 5’, except for The Charming Coop; however, most of our coops sidewalls are between 6’-7’, eliminating stress on chicken owners’ backs.

All of our coops have our signature Clean-Out-The-Coop Door™. This 10”x3’ door is an opening by the floor of the coop that allows for easy clean out of the shavings/debris from your coop. Another feature that contributes to cleanliness is our attention to detail in that owners never have to enter their coop to either gather eggs or open the run.

All of our coops are incredibly well built and nearly impossible for any predator to penetrate. Additionally, our windows, doors, and runs have additional screens made of the highest quality hardware wire, which keeps critters out and chickens safe.

Each coop offers adequate ventilation for your flock through a combination of wall vents and built-in roofline ventilation (varies based on model). Additionally, they come with screens on both doors and windows, made out of the highest quality hardware wire! The “Chicks and Peeps” interior options come with even more ventilation due to the full wall of hardware wire that comes with this layout.

All of our coops are built with longevity in mind. We intend to give our fellow chicken lovers great value as they invest in this lifestyle of backyard chicken ownership! Our coops’ components carry a 50-year warranty on our pre-primed plywood siding and trim. Our shingle roofs and our metal roof upgrade each provide a 40-year warranty, and our base is made of treated wood to increase the longevity of your coop.

Our Signature Door™ features an estimated 6' clearance (slightly smaller on the Charming Coop), offering a comfortable entrance for our chicken keepers. Added safety features include a locking handle and 1/2" hardware wire screen for added predator prevention. The transitional style of this door matches nearly any aesthetic.

We have both chickens and their keepers in mind when designing our roosts. Chickens will note the thoughtful bullnose edge and our 4" depth not only provides comfort but also helps to protect them from frostbite. Their keepers will appreciate that each roost was designed to be removable, so they are easy to clean!

Our run door opening was designed to fit large breeds and even geese comfortably. We've included a pulley system on each run door, so there is no need to enter the coop and soil your shoes when letting your flock out! Each of our standard run door openings is compatible with an automatic run door opener.

Our coops and all of the details that go into them (i.e., nesting boxes, roosts, etc.) utilize a square footage calculation that has been said to be optimal for your flock's health.

Each of our coops comes as a flat-packed kit. The good news is that all of the windows, window trim, doors, and door trim are already in place prior to packaging for shipment for quicker assembly. Our instructions are easy to follow, and we are here to help along the way!

Our Chicks & Peeps Interior Layout is most loved by clients due to the storage it allows for inside of your coop! Alternatively, many of our clients who select an All Chicks Layout also purchase a Mini or Biggie Storage Locker to provide ample space for all their chicken keeping needs.

Our coops are built to be draft-free and made using the highest quality outdoor materials that withstand nearly any inclement weather. 

Measuring 12" x 12", our nesting boxes were designed so that even larger breeds find them to be comfortable. They come standard with a soft close hinge to avoid unnecessary little fingers getting caught when collecting eggs!
